This country style villa near Antwerp was completely redecorated by Marcotte Style in 2005 in country style matching the surroundings. Since a few years this has also become the showroom home of Marcottestyle. Here you get the warm feeling that we want to pass on with every new project. The finish, the colors, the harmony in all the furniture, in short everything is in balance.
The harmony in the colors is, as always, successful. For each total decoration Marcotte Style gives free color advice. This villa was also filmed by RTL (see fragment video villa Anvers) and is featured in several books and magazines such as Homify international.
The Orangery is purposely decorated with very light colors. The overall fresh white color is broken up some dark lampshades and decorative accents:
The custom carpet has the same color as the two seats and the leather strap matches prefectly with the leather of the antique desk. In the room next door, some 20 running meters of curtain samples are presented with more like 3,000 types of fabrics, carpet samples with all possible colors and variations and you name it.
This is followed by the custom kitchen in which the same colors always simply continue like the red thread throughout the home. The cabinets fit perfectly on both sides of the window.
However, in an existing house it is not always easy to achieve this.
Therefore, the cabinets were made a few centimeters wider or narrower to fit between the existing windows, doors and walls. This ensures complete unity. One gets the feeling that everything is really balanced, although each cabinet is not identical. One must also always take into account certain sizes of the stove and still be able to come out right next to the door and give the feeling that all custom cabinets are identical after all: This is real customization. With every kitchen, everything is carefully considered.
The library or TV room is reached through the parlor. This separate room is wonderful for quietly reading a book or watching TV. Purposely there is only one window to ensure the atmosphere of the room. In the evening, the heavy tafta curtains are drawn and one feels secure. Along one side there are custom cabinets, and on the other side behind and above the sofa, paneling was installed. This is truly a cozy space.
The hallway to the garage was kept rural and understated. There is little decoration and yet there is a warm southern feeling here.
The overall warm taupe colors were continued into the first floor. Here the bedrooms receive a repeated harmony. Each bedroom also receives an ensuite bathroom.
A second bedroom in the same colors fits perfectly into the harmonious whole of the villa. Here again, the bedspread or comforter cover is completely adapted to the vertical stripes of the bathroom tiles. Bathroom and bedroom really make one whole.
With a few more guest rooms, the home is also practical to invite in class.
Therefore, the master bedroom has not only its TV and matching bedspread as in all bedrooms, but also a large practical dressing room.
Of course, as luxury dictates, the master bedroom also has its bathroom in suite. A typical country bathroom with every comfort. On the second floor there are two times 15 running meters of custom cabinets sprayed in lacquer. Here you will also find a collection of different furniture sold exclusively by Marcottestyle. There is also a 75-square-meter space where all the chairs are displayed.
