When renovating this rural house<\/a> , the residents deliberately chose to hand over the entire ground floor in one go to Marcottestyle.  After all, one usually only renovates once in a lifetime and then it is better to do it well.<\/p>\n

In any case, a new floor had to be installed and here they chose an LVT floor that is only a few millimeters high. So they did not have to cut the doors themselves and obtained a beautiful result.  The walls were painted in a special taupe color. Wonderful how the afternoon sun colors these walls. Furthermore it was important to the residents to make it a warm and cozy home. Thus they chose to work with a lot of wood. There was thus paneling against the wall in line with the radiator cabinets.  Radiators are usually unattractive and here you get just the opposite effect. The radiator cabinets flow into the paneling and then further into the large new custom-made cabinets. <\/p>\n

We enjoy our home much more now:<\/h3>\n

The walls were also addressed: previously there was a red brick wall that attracted a lot of attention. This is now completely nicely plastered and painted with it. Thus one arrives at a peaceful environment, where everything fits together. <\/p>\n

The kitchen now becomes a prompt piece:<\/h3>\n

The kitchen was also completely renovated. The floor also received the same wood look as the living room, and a large opening was made in the exterior wall for a nice window down to the floor.  this has a huge added value:   the light comes in abundantly because of this and it seems as if one is sitting in the middle of the garden.<\/p>\n

The whole thing has its own momentum:<\/h3>\n

In the hall, the old staircase of solid oak received a major overhaul. This was completely sandblasted and treated with a white matte varnish. This now gives a light, modern yet rustic impression. <\/p>\n

Cozy, warm and chic, a new home:<\/h3>\n

The family found a dream home here. Thanks to the skill of Marcottestyle, this country home has now truly become a dream home. And the residents are very satisfied, which always feels very warm to us personally. So the result is definitely worth it; sober but very cozy and cozy. A study room was also created and a large opening in the wall with a new window now lets in some pleasant light and gives a spacious effect:<\/p>\n
