Country house near Leuven

This is “the” challenge for an interior designer to transform a house, previously converted from a farmhouse, into a stylish cozy sleek cottage country house. Not always easy, as many existing elements must be taken into account and certain beautiful elements must certainly be preserved as well.
Thus, the beautiful vaulted ceilings in red bricks, which were present in this country house, were fully illuminated with a LED strip and invisibly concealed in a wooden paneling wall.
By covering the paneling and here and there an entire wall with wood, one gets a warm country feeling.
Thanks to the use of soft earth colors in ton sur ton one gets a slightly more southern feeling in this country house and relaxes. Everything was thus dipped in the same shades of earth tones.
The new furniture now fits in perfectly with connecting curtains that are again in the same shades of color.
A large part of the kitchen was completely redesigned and adapted to an existing area where the doors were painted in the same color, making it a whole. Upstairs, we then created a desk study completely customized.
We used noble solid French oak combined with wood that obtained a fresh special color. A professional study desk was set up on the first floor.
Two desks on either side with a large work table in the middle provide an inspiring feeling to work efficiently.
Appropriate stores were installed to keep the atmosphere in the house. The daughter also got her new room with a new bed and matching curtains. Then the laundry room and a study desk were also taken care of:
