This rural villa was completely gutted by Marcottestyle in 2014, dismantled to redesign all the spaces in a contemporary concept. A harmonious balance was thus found between space and light, materials and colors.
New floors, ceilings and windows were then installed, followed by careful painting. To make the salon a little more rustic, the interior designer had ordinary hollow beams made that were glued to the smooth concrete ceiling. The spotlights were then tucked into these hollow beams which again brings a certain atmosphere to the home. The staircase received a white coat of special hard paint that makes the space bright and fresh. The kitchen also received a complete makeup.
A separate TV room was created where the children can watch TV quietly and separately while the adults can socialize in the large lounge.
A residential office was set up on the floor. A lot of oak was used for this. To make the space a little fresher and younger, the oak was whitewashed with a contrasting canopy.
By using different shades of colors, the decor becomes more exciting and this gives this country villa the right atmosphere and coziness. Also the paneling with radiator cabinets do complete the whole and create a cozy warm ambiance. Finally, there is a complete new furniture placed with corresponding curtains and carpets. Add some decorative items and one feels at home. The new accent label in the stairwell gives a completely different feeling.
Now this rural villa has become a hit in coziness and harmony, where one really feels at home again. This rural villa in Schoten, hidden in the greenery, has now also obtained a remarkably cozy interior design that the residents are particularly proud of.
