When renovating this rural home, the residents deliberately chose to give Marcottestyle the entire ground floor in one go.
After all, one usually only renovates once in a lifetime and then it is better to do it well.
This way they did not have to cut the doors themselves and still obtained a beautiful result.
The walls were painted in a special taupe color.
Wonderful how the afternoon sun colors these walls.
Furthermore, it was important to the residents to make it a warm and cozy home.
So they chose to work with a lot of wood.
Thus there came paneling against the wall in line with the radiator cabinets.
Radiators are usually not attractive and here you get just the opposite effect.
The radiator cabinets flow into the paneling and then further into the large new custom-made cabinets.
We enjoy our home much more now:
The walls were also addressed: previously there was a red brick wall that attracted a lot of attention.
This is now completely nicely plastered and co-painted.
This creates a peaceful environment, where everything fits together.
The kitchen now becomes a prompt piece:
The kitchen was also completely renovated.
The floor was also given the same wood look as the living room, and a large opening was made in the outside wall for a beautiful window down to the ground.
This has an enormous added value: the light comes in abundantly through this and it seems as if one is sitting in the middle of the garden.
The whole thing has its own momentum:
In the hallway, the old staircase made of solid oak received a major overhaul.
It was completely sandblasted and treated with a white matte varnish.
This now gives a light, modern yet rustic impression.
Cozy, warm and chic, a new home:
The family found a dream home here.
Thanks to the skill of Marcottestyle, this country home has now truly become a dream home.
And the residents are very satisfied, which always feels very warm to us personally.
The result is sober but very cozy and comfortable.
